Curried Rice and Coconut Masala Green Beans January 9, 2012

For the rice:

– 1 cup brown basmati rice

– 1/2 tsp curry powder

– 1 pinch saffron (optional)

Add ingredients in a sauce pan, bring to a boil and simmer until the rice is cooked.

For the green beans:

– 1 cup canned coconut milk

– 3 cups green beans

– 1 tsp garam masala

Add ingredients in a sauce pan and cook on a medium low heat for 20 minutes.
